First babies of the new year

Two hospitals have released information regarding the first babies born in the new year.
IU Health Goshen Circle of Caring Birthplace reports it welcomed the first baby of 2015 at 1:09 a.m.
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka reports its first baby of the year was born at 1:58 a.m.
The girl weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces.
