First responders locate body of swimmer missing from New Buffalo

The body of the swimmer who disappeared in rough waters at New Buffalo City Beach Thursday morning was recovered Tuesday along the beach in the Village of Michiana, according to New Buffalo Police.
The body of 24-year-old Wade Ameiss was located just after 9 a.m.
New Buffalo Township and Michiana Fire Departments recovered Ameiss.
Ameiss is from Missouri and was a contractor working in the area.
