SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Five Star Life is a non-profit organization based in Elkhart that hosted a golf event fundraiser at the South Bend Country Club on Monday.
The group helps area children that come from disadvantaged situations and gives them a chance to create positive changes in their lives.
Golfers that participated in the event were able to sponsor a child and help Five Star Life provide the tools to create a brighter, more positive outlook on life for the child.
Former Notre Dame basketball player LaPhonso Ellis and former Notre Dame football player Raghib “The Rocket” Ismail were in attendance to raise awareness to helping area kids have a better future at home and in school.
