Flooding affects roads in St. Joseph County

Heavy rain has left many South Bend streets under water. City officials are advising residents to avoid non-essential travel while city crews address the flooding. If you must go out they urge extreme caution.
The following road closures are still in effect in South Bend, as of 7:45 am:
- Bowman from Michigan to Carol
- Ireland and High
- Ireland between Ironwood and Ireland Trail
- Calvert between Ironwood and Twyckenham
- Fox between Michigan and Carol
- Main between Ewing and Donmoyer
- Michigan between Donmoyer and Indiana
- Ewing at Fellows Westbound and Franklin Eastbound
- Burdette at Ireland
- Walter between Michigan and the O'Brien Center
