Flooding closes roads, affects businesses, homeowners

Flooding is causing major issues across Michiana for businesses, residents and drivers.
In Elkhart County, several roads have high water.
- SR 19 South of the US 20 Bypass- water is blocking 2 northbound lanes of travel
- CR 104 west of CR 17
- US 20 Bypass east of SR 19 (eastbound Lanes)
- US 20 Bypass west of SR 19 (westbound lanes)
Turning Leaf Drive in Nature's Gate subdivision is closed because of flooding in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters in Elkhart is also experiencing flooding.
The Home Depot in Mishawaka is closed because heavy snow and rain caused damage to their roof.
