ELKHART, Ind. – The Athletic Director at ECHS announced that the school district activities are cancelled on Thursday due to the flooding around the school.
The football field is submerged in water, but administrators are unsure if it has created major damage.
“We’re just going to have to wait until it recedes and then take an assessment to come out and take a look.” Brian Buckley, Athletic Director at Elkhart Central, said.
Officials are still assessing whether the institution will be opened on Friday.
