Florida girl takes to field as quarterback

PLANTATION, Fla. -- A Florida High School quarterback is suiting up to help her team dominate this season.

Yes, her.

Erin DiMeglio is the first girl to play quarterback on a boy's varsity team in Florida history.

She does everything her teammates do.

And she has got the same goal in mind as any other quarterback out on the field--she wants to throw a touchdown pass.

"To throw a touchdown, that's my biggest goal right now," Dimeglio said.

She says she is fine being the only girl on the field.

And her athletic ability does not end there, DiMeglio hopes to switch to basketball in college.
