GOSHEN, Ind. -- The City of Goshen handed out flowers to community members Friday just for living in Goshen.
Roses were available throughout the day Friday for residents to pick up from City Hall.
“I heard about this happening on Facebook, the Mayor posted about it and I follow his page so I saw it on there and I thought it would be a really neat thing to do, to bring out my family and get the roses,” a Goshen resident said.
This gesture is usually carried out in the fall, but Mayor Jeremy Stutsman said the weather Friday was very fitting for the occasion.
