We're keeping a close eye on visibility Tuesday morning, as fog is settling in over the area. Give yourself plenty of extra time to get out on the roads and drive safely through foggy areas. Remember to use your normal headlights, not your brights, to help you see better.
There could be a few light showers or a bit of mist this morning in addition to the fog. The light showers continue into the afternoon, although it won't be a complete wash. The last of the rain moves out around the evening commute time.
It feels cool with temperatures starting in the lower 50s, but this afternoon is slightly warmer compared to yesterday with highs in the lower 70s.
This doesn't have the makings for a beautiful beach day, but in case anyone is headed to Lake Michigan today, be aware it is a red flag day again with waves building up to about 6 feet at times. Wind gusts up to 20 mph are possible across Michiana by afternoon.
A lot of improvements for Wednesday, warming near 80 and clouds breaking.
Temperatures continue to climb each day to end the week, and will stay warm over the weekend.
Tuesday: AM fog, showers, mist. Mostly cloudy and breezy afternoon. High 72.
Tonight: Clearing skies. Low 54.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny. High 80.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 84.
