Food Bank of Northern Indiana asking for volunteers

The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is asking for help. They are looking for volunteers to serve as sweepers.

It's part of the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive the second weekend of May. 

Volunteers would work with letter carriers to pick up donated food items.

Volunteers are needed for the neighborhoods of Chippewa, Edison, Olive and Main.

They are asking for help from 7:30 until 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. 

Those interested are asked to call the food bank.
