The time of giving may be over, but the Food Bank of Northern Indiana isn't slowing down to help Michiana residents fight food insecurity.
Thursday, the food bank held another food distribution, highlighting the importance the events can have for many families in our area when it comes to keeping food on the table.
The food bank says with the rising costs and inflation, more families need food, but those same rising costs mean fewer donations.
If you're not able to donate, they say volunteering your time to help can be just as important.
