SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Just one week after the shooting death of 11-year-old T'yon Horston, community organizers put together a march to protest the gun violence in South Bend.
Horston, a 6th grader at Jefferson Tradition Middle School, was gunned down near the corner of Johnson and Longely streets in South Bend's Northwest side.
At this time, no one is in police custody for the shooting.
The community is still reeling from the senseless act of gun violence, and plenty of T'yon's family and friends gathered Thursday for the vigil and march in honor of T'yon, asking the community to put the guns down.
