Former high school wrestling standout died fighting over seas.

PORTER, Ind -- A soldier and former high school wrestling stand-out from Porter, Indiana died while fighting over-seas.
The Department of Defense announced last night that 21-year-old James Butz was killed in Afghanistan Wednesday when insurgents attacked his unit using an IED.
Butz was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
According to the Department of Defense 1,678 military deaths have been reported during operation enduring freedom.
