MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Retirees from Honeywell protested outside of Representative Jackie Walorski's Mishawaka office on Wednesday asking for her help to get their benefits restored.
A judge recently ruled those who retired before 2003 are not entitled to lifetime benefits. Their health care coverage ended on Wednesday.
The retired workers want Representative Walorski to ask the federal government to force Honeywell to restore their benefits.
"We need our representatives to stand up for us right now. right now! stand up for us, get us what we deserve, get us what we were told we'd have when we retired and became old," said Dona Hall, a widow of a retired Honeywell worker.
