Former Indiana governor Otis Bowen dies at 95

DONALDSON, Ind. — Former Indiana governor Otis Bowen has died at the age of 95.

Bowen, also known as "Doc," died Saturday in Donaldson, Ind. 

Bowen worked for the Reagan administration.

Current governor Mike Pence made a comment on Bowen's death.

"I mark his passing with a sense of personable loss. His story is as inspiring as it is uniquely Hoosier," said Pence.

Pence ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff to honor Bowen.
