Former ND assistant coach Corwin Brown pleads guilty

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Corwin Brown has plead guilty.

The former assistant Notre Dame football coach faced confinement and battery charges related to a standoff at his Granger home back in August of 2011.

Brown plead guilty with mental illness to two of the three charges against him. Count one was dismissed, the last two counts he plead guilty with mental illness.

A status hearing in Brown's case is scheduled for 8 a.m. June 28.
