Former Tiffany and Co. executive sentenced

NEW YORK — A former Tiffany and Company executive is headed to prison for stealing and reselling millions of dollars worth of fine jewelry from her employer.
The judge sentenced the woman to a year and one day in prison.
She pleaded guilty in July to taking at least 165 pieces of jewelry worth more than $2 million.
Police believe she took the items over several years going back as far as 2005.
