Four children placed with relative after drugs found in South Bend home Tuesday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend man is in jail on felony drug dealing charges following an Indiana State Police drug investigation that began with a complaint from a neighbor.
An ISP spokesperson say they began the investigation several weeks ago after receiving a neighborhood complaint of suspected drug dealing at 3602 Edison Street Apt. 5.
The investigation ultimately led to a search warrant being issued and served at 8:41 a.m. on April 29.
"Troopers located approximately two ounces of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia," ISP said.
"This resulted in Lance Marietta, 38 of South Bend, being arrested for charges that include Dealing Methamphetamine, Level 2 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 3 Felony, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony, and Neglect of a Dependent, Level 5 Felony."
Authorities say there were four children in the home at the time of the warrant ranging from the ages of one year old to 15 years old.
"The Indiana Department of Child Services was called, and they responded to the scene," ISP said. "They continued their investigation throughout the day, and the children were ultimately placed with a relative."
Marietta was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
