Four girls arrested after fight at Elkhart school

ELKHART, Ind. – Four girls were arrested Thursday after allegedly getting into a fight at an Elkhart school, the Elkhart Police Department reported.

At 11:30 a.m., officers arrived to the Life Program (Elkhart Academy) in the 2400 block of California Road in response to a fight reported between students.

Officers were told two girls were fighting outside the cafeteria doors when a third girl inserted herself into the fight, according to reports.

After the three girls were separated, a fourth girl allegedly went after one of the girls in the security office.

All four girls, ages 15 to 17, were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center for the charge of disorderly conduct.
