Four Plymouth schools placed on lockout

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- The Plymouth Community School Corporation placed four schools on lockout Thursday after Plymouth Police received reports of a man with a gun on Columbus Drive, according to the school corporation.

Classes continued as normal at Jefferson Elementary, Riverside Intermediate, Lincoln Jr. High School, and Plymouth High School, but anyone going in or out of the building had to be screened by law enforcement.

Plymouth Police located the subject, but there was no weapon involved.

The lockout was then lifted.
