Four suspects arrested in residential armed robbery

La Grange County deputies arrested four people in connection with an armed robbery that happened at a home early Monday morning.

La Grange County deputies were called to a home in the 6800 block of N. CR 100W for an armed robbery in progress just after 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Deputies learned three armed assailants forced their way into the home and woke the homeowner.

They forced the homeowner to open a safe and they attempted to steal firearms, collector coins, jewelry and electronics from the home.

One shot was fired in the home, but no one was injured.

During the course of the investigation, three suspects were arrested at the scene.

One suspect who fled the scene was apprehended at an apartment complex by Elkhart Police.

Three adults and a teen were arrested on multiple charges.

Alan Anyul – 20 year old Hispanic male of Elkhart

  • Burglary while armed a level 2 felony
  • Armed Robbery a level 3 felony
  • Criminal Confinement a level 3 felony
  • Criminal Recklessness with a firearm a level 5 felony

17 year old juvenile of Elkhart

  • Burglary while armed a level 2 felony
  • Armed Robbery a level 3 felony
  • Criminal Confinement a level 3 felony
  • Criminal Recklessness with a firearm a level 5 felony
