Free beginner yoga class at Niles District Library
NILES, Mich. - Organizers at the Niles District Library invite residents 18 and over to join in for a beginner yoga class on Monday, March 18.
The class is every other Monday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Community Room.
Organizers say you will use your breath to guide you through your movements.
All levels of experience are welcome, and you can bring a mat if you have one.
The library will have a limited number of mats available for use.
It's recommended you wear athletic clothing that allows you to move and stretch.
Admission is free and open to the public, with no registration required.
The yoga instructor will be Sam Major. Major is a teacher trainee at Dancing Feet Yoga.
Major says she discovered yoga at age 12 and loves the calm and connection between mind and body after class.
