SOUTH BEND, Ind.- La Casa de Amistad is hosting a free event for Michiana families who need to find answers on citizenship and immigration.
Saturday’s event starts at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Harrison Primary Center school gym. Citizenship and immigration questions are going to be answered in both English and Spanish.
It’s a free community citizenship informational meeting. You’ll be able to learn many things like how to become a U.S. citizen, how to study and apply for citizenship and you’ll be able to participate in mock interviews by immigration experts.
Info tables will be here from local immigrant service organizations. There will also be a panel of legal experts presenting some information that’s beneficial if you’re looking to become a citizen.
