Free South Bend Cubs tickets for active duty and military veterans

Active duty and military veterans can receive two free tickets to the South Bend Cubs' games on Sunday and Monday.

In order to receive the two free tickets, all active duty personnel and veterans must visit the South Bend Cubs Box Office and show a form of military ID. If tickets to the game are sold out, lawn tickets will be provided.

Sunday's game begins at 7:05 p.m. and Monday's game begins at 2:05 p.m.

“We are incredibly thankful for the men and women who defend our country everyday and to those who have served,” said South Bend Cubs Team President Joe Hart in a press release. “Being able to provide our veterans and active duty personnel an opportunity to enjoy a great day at the ballpark is just a small way we can say thank you.”

“On this Memorial Day, many Americans will be honoring our fallen heroes by attending various activities, events or memorials,” said Express Employment Professionals Franchise Owner Norm Robertson in a press release. “It is the hope of Express Employment Professionals that we can help fill the stands on Sunday and Monday with our active duty military and veterans, as we all show our gratitude to those who have sacrificed, never forgetting that our freedom is never free! In addition to the solemn services that some will attend, enjoying America’s favorite pastime is also a great way to come together as a community.  Nothing brings people together like South Bend Cubs baseball!”
