Free toys for children in need Saturday afternoon
SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Kingdom Christian Center and Marine Corp Reserves will be giving away free toys to children in need on Saturday.
The event will start at 10 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. or while supplies last.
Parents must bring an I.D and a birth certificate or social security card for each child in order to receive assistance.
A Miracle on Elwood Street began three years ago when Pastor Canneth Lee joined up with St.Joe County Toys for Tots.
Since then 2700 children have been given toys on Christmas Eve.
“This has been a great gathering of the community giving back, we have had members of the community, Far Northwest Neighborhood Association, Fremont Youth Foundation and elected officials come and bring holiday cheer to so many, it really is the most wonderful time of the year,” says Pastor Canneth Lee.
The event location is at Kingdom Christian Center at 2010 Elwood St in South Bend.
