Freshmen experience the Irish for the first time

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Quite a few hundred fans got the Irish experience for the first time Saturday.
This was the first home game ever for several Notre Dame freshmen.
We found one guy who's never even been to a college football game before.
The fact that he can see his first game at Notre Dame has him pretty pumped.
"It's pretty exciting. I've yet to go to a Notre Dame game or even a college football game and I'm pumped," said Shane Giles, Freshman at Notre Dame.
Nearly 2,000 students enroll at Notre Dame every year.
Most of the new students are freshmen.
