Friday's storms loud and soaking

The first round of storms hit St. Joseph, MI just after 5:00 PM with estimated 70 mph winds. That line of storms weakened as it moved across northern Berrien and Cass counties, but not before knocking out power to at least 2000 people.

From 5:30 to 7:00 PM, severe cells brought heavy rain, lightning and hail to part of Pulaski, Fulton, Kosciusko and LaGrange counties.

The main line of storms moved through Michiana between 7:30 and 9:00 PM, postponing many high school football games until Saturday morning. This line of storms brought torrential downpours, street flooding, thunder and lightning.
