Extremely cold and still snowy this weekend. The cold is the first and foremost concern as lows drop below zero, Saturday morning. The big snow storm making headlines will impact our area, but an addition three to six inches for most is not the knockout blow that will be felt farther south. The snowfall will be fairly persistent Saturday night through Sunday, especially in the lake effect zones. The extreme cold will be the added concern as roads may stay snow-covered and slick. Plan for winter driving conditions, and the extreme cold. Being stuck in the snow and cold is the real danger here, even a small mishap could turn into a bigger deal if left exposed to the cold. Check on, your family, pets and neighbors so everyone is safe and warm.
Tonight: Scattered snow showers. Low -4.
Saturday: Cloudy. High 8.
Sunday: Snow. High 14.
Monday: Lake Effect Snow. High 12
