From homeless to Harvard

Another homeless is student is graduating with honors and is heading to Harvard in the fall.

Dawn Loggins just graduated from high school. However, one day last summer she came home to find her parents had abandoned her. She was homeless and left to support herself.

After seeing the neglect, drug abuse and bad choices her family made, she decided not to end up like them.

So, she got a job as a custodian at her school. She took AP classes and graduated with honors.

"I was about to cry when everyone stood up and was screaming, it just felt amazing," Loggins said.

Loggins will major in biology at Harvard.
