Fugitive from Minnesota arrested in Michigan City
A five month manhunt spanning three states ended in Michigan City Monday with the arrest of fugitive Tiesha Monique Moore.
Moore was taken into custody around 5 p.m. Monday in the Walmart parking lot by the Twin Cities Apprehension Team from Minnesota and Michigan City Police.
Moore had 16 outstanding warrants for various charges including felony 1st degree criminal damage to property, felony domestic assault, felony theft, felony aiding and abetting financial transaction card fraud, felony wrongfully obtaining assistance by false statement, impersonation or concealment, felony DWI, and several gross misdemeanor criminal charges.
While on the run, Moore taunted Minnesota authorities on Facebook about how she would "never be caught."
