Fugitives apprehended, returned to La Porte County
LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Two fugitives who have been wanted for more than a year have been apprehended, according to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office.
Juan Burdine was recently apprehended in Tupelo for a dealing cocaine, level 4 felony, La Porte County warrant.
Fugitive Apprehension Street Team Sergeant Brett Swanson and Warrants Division Deputy Keith Wilson traveled to Tupelo, Mississippi, to bring Burdine back to Indiana.
Burdine is in the La Porte County Jail on a $20,005 cash-only bond through La Porte County Circuit Court.
Tiffani COATES was recently apprehended in Carbondale, Illinois for a robbery, level 3 felony and auto theft, level 6 felony, La Porte County warrant.
Both Sergeant Swanson and Deputy Wilson traveled to Carbondale to bring Coates back to Indiana.
Coates is in the La Porte County Jail on a $25,005 cash-only bond through La Porte Circuit Court.
