FULTON COUNTY, Ind. -- On Saturday, Oct. 24, the Fulton County Sheriff's Office partnered with Kroger for National Drug Take Back Day.

According to the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, over 428 pounds of medication were collected. That medication was delivered to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for proper disposal. 

The sheriff's office reminds the public that you don't have to wait until the next event to turn in unwanted or expired medications. The sheriff's office has a 24-hour medication drop box located in the lobby.
