Fundraiser started for fallen airmen
NORFOLK, England -- Technical Sergeant Dale Mathews of Rolling Prairie was one of four airmen on board a helicopter that went down in a nature preserve in Norfolk, England Tuesday.
Thursday, service members and their families on base in Norfolk have already begun to rally around the families of those fallen soldiers.
An online fundraising site has been created to help raise money for the families these airmen leave behind.
"Whenever we send our spouses off to combat, we prepare for the worst and hope for the best. We pray that they're going to come home. However this is a completely different situation," said Caitlin Malone.
If you would like to help donate to this cause the site can be found here.
