Fundraising event at the Historic Portage Manor

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Historic Portage Manor is hosting their “Summer Social FUN-draiser” on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Different festivities for the event include tours, a flyover, raffles, craft sales, music, games and more.

A tour will also be led at 2 p.m. to showcase the recently cleaned ravine in the woods next to the manor.

“It was remarkable to see the community come together to help clean up the Portage Manor woods. It speaks to how important Portage Manor is to our community, and I am confident that again the community will embrace Historic Portage Manor tomorrow by supporting their fundraiser,” said Derek Dieter, a Commissioner of St. Joseph County.

The manor will also be holding a Port-a-Pit fundraiser during this event.

“Portage Manor relies on the generous donations from our community to provide programing and support for the residents of Portage Manor that would not be otherwise possible,” said Patty Godsey, President of the Portage Manor Board of Directors.
