Funeral services set for retired Plymouth teacher

Funeral services have been scheduled for Bob Pickell, the retired Plymouth teacher who passed away over the weekend.

Visitation for Mr. Pickell will be held Thursday, July 7 from 3:30 - 7 p.m. in the Plymouth High School auditorium. Guests are asked to enter through the north set of doors #5.

At 7 p.m., a Service of Remembrance will be held to honor Mr. Pickell's life in education, as a community leader and member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Everyone is welcome.

If you cannot attend, but wish to see the services, it will be shown live on the PTV at PHS YouTube channel.

A mass of Christian burial will begin at Friday, July 8th at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 613 N. Center Street.

Burial will follow at the New Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth.

The family is requesting memorial gifts be given towards establishing a Robert P. Pickell Memorial Scholarship.
