GALIEN, Mich. -- Galien Schools administrators have met with the state of Michigan.
Galien owes the state $500,000 and may be forced to close. Right now, no decision has been announced.
Wednesday, a group of alumni also presented the deputy superintendent with a petition. They’re asking to at least keep the district open through the end of the school year.
