Garbage truck involved in head-on crash on CR 46

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.—A garbage truck was involved in a crash on Thursday morning in Elkhart County.
According to officials, a garbage truck and another vehicle were involved in a head-on crash in the 24000 block of C.R. 46 around 4:38 a.m. on Thursday.
One person was taken to the hospital.
The area roads are closed while police investigate.
