Gas leak on Notre Dame campus contained

NIPSCO is on the Notre Dame campus where there was a gas leak detected just before 3 p.m. Monday.
The leak happened at the north end of DeBartolo Quad.
Notre Dame Police and Fire personnel worked with NIPSCO to resolve the situation.
No campus buildings were evacuated but students were encouraged to avoid the area.
The leak appears to have been caused by a tent stake that was driven into an unmarked gas line.
