MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A gas leak has prompted the evacuation of everyone within a one block radius of W 4th and Hill streets in Mishawaka.
Authorities say a construction worker hit an unmarked gas line with a backhoe.
The gas line that broke is owned by NIPSCO.
NIPSCO workers crimped off and sealed the line and then residents were allowed back in their homes.
