Gas prices expected to jump over holidays

If you're one of the millions getting ready to hit the road for the holidays, get ready to fork over a few more pennies at the pump.

The recent drop in prices appears to be coming to an end. While prices have fallen about 58 cents since early October, analysts say it could go up 5-10 cents in the next few weeks.

According to AAA, the national average is around $3.24. South Bend drivers are paying about $3.22 a gallon. That's about what Hoosiers are paying on average right now as well.

Michigan residents are paying a little more at $3.25.
