Gas prices jump 40 cents in parts of Michiana

People might start taking the bus if gas prices continue to rise.
Prices jumped more than 40 cents on Thursday in parts of Michiana.
One station in Elkhart was selling gas for $3.59 a gallon.
In South Bend, we found gas ranging from $3.19 to $3.29.
The national average for a gallon of regular is $3.41.
