Georgia man with active warrant arrested in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - A man with a nationwide extradition warrant out of Georgia was arrested during a traffic stop in Marshall County Wednesday, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

At 9:45 p.m., a deputy pulled over a white 2022 Dodge van in the area of U.S. 31 and 17th Road.

During the traffic stop, the deputy smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, reports said.

The deputy searched the vehicle and found a handgun and a small amount of marijuana, according to reports.

The driver of the Dodge, identified as 27-year-old Tim Jallah of Atlanta, was found to have a nationwide extradition warrant out of Georgia.

He was taken to the Marshall County Jail on the charges of serious violent felon in possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana and his outstanding warrant.
