Get prepared for winter storm now

MISHAWAKA, Ind. –  With much of Michiana under a winter storm warning, many people are stocking up on supplies at Home Depot.

Home Depot’s Operations Manager Jeff Davis says the store has been busy with people stopping by after work to grab a few things.

Some things you may need: snow shovels, washer fluid, de-icer for windows, fast-action ice melt and salt.

These are just a few of the items lining the shelves at Home Depot.

Snow blowers are going quickly too.

Home Depot says they're ready for the big rush and understand why people are just now getting around to it.

"I'm not sure that people have thought too much about snow and snow removal and getting their salt supplies just yet,” said Jeff Davis, Home Depot Operations Manager.

This storm is moving in quickly. It is expected to bring rain, sleet and snow.
