Girl found wandering alone on Elkhart street, parents located

ELKHART, Ind. - Elkhart Police have located the family of the girl who was found wandering alone Tuesday morning in the 2500 block of Toledo Road.
She was found alone around 5:45 a.m.
Around 8:30 a.m., the mother of the child contacted police about her missing daughter.
Police said it appears the child wandered from the home while her mother, who works nights, was sleeping.
The case remains under investigation.
