Give feedback to Silver Beach's new ADA inclusive playground

SILVER BEACH, Mich. - You're invited to see the new concepts and ideas for Silver Beach's County Park's new playground and give your feedback.

In 2023, Berrien County Parks received the Michigan Department of Natural Resources SPARK Grant to replace their 30-year-old playground.

The current playground, showing evident wear and tear, will be replaced with ADA (American with Disabilities Act) inclusive features to play without barriers.

The SPARK grant awarded $850,000 toward the $1,250,000 project.

Berrien County Parks is working to raise the remaining $400,000 to complete the project.

You can donate to the playground on the Berrien Community Foundation's website.

The open house will take place on Thursday, September 28 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Silver Beach County Park.

Park staff and contractors will be present to answer questions about the Silver Beach County Park Playground Project.
