Thousands without power due to high wind gusts
Cool and damp Tuesday with showers on and off through much of the day before steady rain moves in this afternoon. Highs will top out in the mid 60's. This rain could help out our lackluster rain totals so far this year with some forecast models estimating more than a half inch of rain in spots. Rain moves out tonight and the rest of the week looks to be mainly quiet with lower rain chances until the weekend. We'll continue to warm through the end of the week, back in the 70's by tomorrow and nearing 80 ahead of the weekend. The next best chance for rain arrives this weekend late Saturday into Sunday.
Today: Rainy. High 65.
Tonight: Rain early. Low 54.
Wednesday: Clouds decreasing. High 72.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 75.
