GMA host inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame

CANTON, Ohio --- Michael Strahan was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame Sunday.

Strahan, who is now a host of Good Morning America, retired from the New York Giants in 2008.

He was named the best all-around defender of his generation and now joins the immortals of professional football.

"To my ABC family, I want to thank them for coming out to support me. My TV wife Kelly Ripa, thank you baby. To the one and only Robin Roberts, Robin thank you for coming out here to support me. I appreciate you and I love you," said Strahan.

Even after such an impressive career, Strahan said he never expected to achieve this success.
