FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Friday, August 23rd, 2019
The beautiful September-like weather will continue thru the weekend with highs in the middle 70s Saturday and upper 70s Sunday. Each day will start in the lower 50s. The sunshine will come to an end early next week as a cold front swings through the Great Lakes.
That front will bring a good chance of scattered rain and perhaps a few thunderstorms to the entire area from Sunday night thru Tuesday morning. Highs will still stay in the 70s despite the quick jump in humidity.
Fortunately, the nice weather returns by Tuesday afternoon and lasts thru Friday afternoon. Sun and clouds will combine with low humidity and highs in the 70s to make for another great stretch.
Early indications are that we could see another frontal boundary sag through the region next Friday and Saturday to kick off Labor Day Weekend. That could fuel a round of showers and thunderstorms.
Tonight: Clear and cool, low of 53.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, high of 75.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with increasing clouds later in the day, high of 78.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with on and off rain and perhaps a storm, high near 76.
