Goshen College to host Maria Tomasula for a Visual Arts lecture
GOSHEN, Ind. -- Goshen College will be hosting Maria Tomasula, a professor emerita at Notre Dame, for their annual Eric Yake Kenagy Visiting program.
Tomasula is a Latinx studio artist who specializes in paintings, prints, and drawings. They will be giving a speech titled 'Giving Visual Form to a Sense of Self' and will be speaking about their work on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Music Center's Rieth Recital Hall, which will be followed by a reception.
Both these events will be free and open to the public.
Before Tomasula's speech, she will visit classes at the college and give guest workshops to students in painting and drawing classes. The morning following her speech, Tomasula will attend a brunch and discussion that will be open to students from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
