Goshen Community Schools no longer requiring masks

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Goshen Community Schools is dropping its mask mandate in classrooms beginning Tuesday.

While masks will no longer be required, students and staff can still choose to wear masks.

Contact tracing will no longer be required in schools.

Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will be required to stay out of school for at least five days.

They can return to school on day six if they have no symptoms or have been fever free for 24 hours.

Those who test positive are encouraged to wear a mask until day 11.
